About this site. . .

On this site, I'll present Vedanta as taught by the Holy Trio (Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sharada, Swami Vivekananda) and also touch base with Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga.

Why Vedanta

Vedanta and Integral Yoga can help us lead a purposeful and an enriched life. Also, without applying and practicing their PRINCIPLE OF ONENESS in the globalizing world's economic, political and socio–religio framework, today's world problems, such as, wars, violence, hatred, and crime can never be resolved.

Why Sri Ramakrishna

Ramakrishna (1836 – 1886) unequivocally proclaimed:

"The vision of God is the only goal of human life . . . God can be realized through all paths. It is not good to feel that my religion alone is true and other religions are false . . . If there are errors in other religions, that is none of our business. God, to whom the world belongs, takes care of that . . . All religions are true."

Ramakrishna's biographer, Christopher Isherwood called Him a "phenomenon" — "something extraordinary and mysterious". Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna's foremost disciple founded the Ramakrishna Math and Mission to transform his teachings into a reality and to spread his message to the world. Ramakrishna's Divine Consort Maa Sharada's, blessings and her lifelong guidance to the Ramakrishna Order and the selfless service of Swamis of the Ramakrishna Mission world-wide during the past 100+ years has truly made the "phenomenon" an "extraordinary and mysterious" reality. Today, millions of people world-wide follow Ramakrishna's teachings. This is just the beginning, and a lot more will yet to be done.

Sri Aurobindo proclaimed in 1910: "The world could not bear a second birth like that of Ramakrishna in 500 years. The mass of thought that he has left has first to be transformed into experience; the spiritual energy given forth has to be converted into achievement. Until that is done, what right have we to ask for more? What could we do with more?"
